ACSP English Program organized an educational trip and Pre-Engineering Workshop for Secondary 4-5 MTEP Engineering students at Assumption University on 10 September 2024.
This workshop offered hands-on Arduino interfacing training. Through this, students understood what Arduino is and how it works. They programmed Arduino using code written in Arduino IDE, using ultrasonic sensors & components (Arduino, Ultrasonic sensor, Servo Motor, and Breadboard). Students also learned how to build innovative projects with Arduino.
The following topics were explored in detail. For the circuit connections: the Ultrasonic sensor (Arduino), trigger pin (digital pin 6), Echo pin (digital pin 7), VCC (5v), and GND (GND). For the Servo motor: the control signal of the servo motor (digital pin 9), VCC of the servo motor (5v), and GND of the servo motor (GND) were discussed.
